Beasts of Burden

Two lonely women take solace in a field full of Donkeys.

Lilian, lonely and trapped in an unfulfilling relationship, walks everyday to the fields across from her council estate to talk to a group of donkeys from the local farm. She tells them her secrets; they give her advice.  One day, Lilian notices she is not the only human who needs company. The unruly Evelyn, bursting with energy and anxiety, visits the donkeys to vent her life’s passions. Will Lillian find the courage to reach out to the stranger who shares her peculiar predilection?
